This Post is About Things that Start with the Letter B...Why the letter B? Well in previous posts I've shared that I have been having alot of fun with a site called Swap-bot. I am currently participating in a swap called "Through the Alphabet Envelope - B". This swap calls for sending your partner items starting with B so I am in search of some cool items to delight my swap partner Wish me luck!

Personally For You

I love making gifts that have been personally planned with a specific recipient in mind. I so enjoy making gifts for family…each year on special holidays, sometimes Christmas…sometimes birthdays…I try to complete a handmade gift. My grandchildren received handmade scarves and or hats this year. The oldest finally got a rib knit hat in his team colors, the Cowboys. His siblings,  received  handmade clipboards personalized with their names. My daughter-in-law has a birthday not long after Christmas and finding a special gift for her so close to the holidays can be a challenge. I decided to add  personalized handmade gifts to the candle sticks I had already picked out for her. Her clipboard is in pretty creams & purples. Since I had a bit of the pretty papers left I decided to make a matching card too.

Card Swaps

Do you enjoy creating? Early in my discovery of rubberstamping I discovered swapping. It has been a wonderful experience allowing me to see what others were working on and also those fabulous techniques I was yet to discover! Once upon a time I was involved in groups run by those listmasters. Listmasters  with names like majordomo...Weren't those mysterious, LOL. Well I still love swapping and have maintained connections with friends all around the US and abroad because of our love of the creative, handmade and experimental. Have you discovered Swap-bot yet? Whats holding me back? Fear of failure, Fear of loss of clout, some manifestation of some type of fear?
Whats driving me forward?
Bring in a mentor to input here. Whats real in this situation and what is the perception of my situation..
Trying to bring in boundries...whats the worst that could happen? (no large economic risk.. Whats the best that could happen?
The decision making process for a woman is emotion driven, men are better at risk accessment.
Play to your strengths, why women are better in this business...better at seeing what people need, empathy. This is why women often go to the product side of our business, the benefit people get from our wonderful products.

Swapping Creating Sharing Yeah!!

 Back in November of 2011 I found this cool spot on the internet, Swap-bot. I shared it on my Pinterest board too! Swap-Bot  brings people together...there are alot of likeminded people out there in our big old world…people who share an interest in the same stuff I like! Another thing we similarly share in common is we like to see what others are doing…so much so that we look for opportunities to swap…hence SWAP-BOT. Currently I am swapping in these swaps.

 I've swapped lots of others... one I swapped in was Crafting Emails and the idea is to share an email FULL of craftiness :) I had a great time preparing my email, I LOVE sharing what I do, my best tips, etc. One of my partners wrote back asking for some pics of one of my crafts, Rake Knitting so I thought I’d post a picture of my first Rake Knitting project while sharing a bit about SWAP-BOT since I’m having so much fun with it.

Today I was enjoying myself surfing youtube and came across a fun video making Mini Books out of flattened empty toilet paper rolls. The pages hold little treasures of all kinds...I can't wait to try this out!

The Journey

Remember me sharing with you that I would be starting on my lifestyle reset? My lifestyle reset began with a decision to improve my overall health, but I wasn't interested in just a diet or this exercise trend or that pill. I wanted something for the overall me. I looked at many programs out on the market and from what I can see each one had a weakness...a flaw. I was extremely excited when Xango introduced a brand NEW category to thier trusted line of wellness products!!
In January I began my FAVAO Lifestyle Reset Journey!

I am just beginning into week 4 and I must say it has been an insightful, interesting and fun journey thus far. Did I say FUN? Yes! Really!

I feel like I've learned a few things along the way. Oh did you want to know if I'm making progress on the weight loss? YES!
As of Week 3 I am 10 lbs lighter...thats something to cheer about!!!
More than the pounds though I am feeling better. This is my first time ever doing a cleanse, the Favao Cleanse works from
deep intestinal cleansing to liver purification. I've noticed more energy, I feel clearer thinking and I just feel better all over.
